Citizens who intend to enter and move to Russia can obtain a specific visa (lasting no more than 90 days for a single entry) established by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of August 19, 2024 no. 702 “On humanitarian assistance to persons sharing traditional Russian spiritual and moral values”.

This visa is issued in order to subsequently submit an application for a temporary residence permit to the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Procedure for moving to Russia by Law 702

First phase :

Visa Agency

Documents to be presented in Russia:

Necessary documents to prepare before departure:

• • Preparation of documents as above.

• • The criminal record is provided by the agency in Italy ( The request for the apostilled criminal record for Russia will be made at the same time as the visa application ), while the other original documents must be requested personally by the client from the competent registry office.

Russian Visa Application :

The documents to be submitted to obtain a Russian visa with Legislative Decree 702 are:

• • Passport: with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond the expiry date of the requested visa, undamaged and with at least two free pages

• • 2 passport photos: in colour, 3.5 x 4.5 cm, on a light background, taken no more than 6 months ago, with a frontal and clearly distinguishable image of the face, with a neutral expression (not smiling), without glasses or headgear (with the exception of citizens who, for reasons of national or religious affiliation, are depicted with their head covered in the passport photo)

• • Russian visa form online: the agency will take care of it after filling in the PDF form

• • Request of a foreign citizen addressed to the competent consulate of the Russian Federation

• • Health insurance: valid on the territory of the Russian Federation and covering the period of validity of the visa, must be issued by Russian insurance companies or companies that have concluded reinsurance contracts with an authorized Russian insurance company – This document will be provided by the agency.

Second Phase:

Travel planning;

• • Preparation of the rental contract and its regularity ( Official drafting of the contract between the parties which is submitted to the client for review )

• • Advance Deposit and Real Estate Agency Fees

• • Balance of first month’s rent upon signing the contract with the owner on the day of arrival in RF.

Arrival in Moscow:

• • Assistance upon arrival, taxi booking, personal meeting with our representative , accommodation in the apartment, (if arriving at night it will be necessary to temporarily book a night in a hotel).

• • explanation of apartment management and meter and payment deadlines

• • Meeting with the owner to formalize the rental contract.

After entering the apartment:

• • Registration at the immigration office through our representative, who will carry out the registration according to your migration card , of your place of residence in Moscow within 7 working days .

Document Preparation:

Preparing documents for the Immigration Office:

• • Notarized legalized translation of all deeds originating from Italy.

• • Passport translation with notarization

Third phase:

The time for issuing a temporary permit in the Russian Federation is calculated at a minimum of 4 months, therefore after the submission there will be a period of time during which the authorities will check the documentation.

The visa you have will cover a 3-month stay, so you will almost certainly have to renew it.

Extension pending RVP:

• • Passport submission to the designated office, request for RVP extension to the office and payment of immigration office fees.

Execution time 1 working day

When the visa date expires, you will have to collect your passport from the same office, where they will have affixed an extension visa.

RVP Withdrawal :
